SONA is a 501c4 non-profit organization established to support, promote, and improve the quality of life for residents of the Sierra Oaks neighborhood. SONA is managed entirely by volunteers who are committed to enhancing the livability of our neighborhood by establishing and maintaining open lines of communication and functioning as a liaison with the City of Sacramento and Sacramento County agencies as well as surrounding neighborhoods.
SONA membership dues are $300 per calendar year. Yearly membership dues are collected in January and are renewed annually. An online payment system allows for easy dues collection. Email reminders are automatically sent to members when it is time to renew.
Our new website supports electronic invoicing and payments for membership dues as well as PAYPAL. All that is required to do this is to join this website as a registered user and after approval, the invoice for payment can be sent. If you prefer to mail in your membership dues, we have uploaded a printable form that can be found here.
SONA membership dues are primarily used to fund Sacramento County Sheriff patrols. The SONA-funded Sheriff Patrols cover the entire SONA area, which includes both county and city streets. SONA also funds several neighborhood community events each year.
If your membership has lapsed or if you are not a current SONA member, you will see a note on your profile page.
