Chris Nance, President
Chris has lived in Sierra Oaks with his wife and son for six years, and has been serving SONA for four years. His primary duties include applying sound business practices to SONA management, planning agenda items for board and membership meetings, and producing member correspondence. Chris and his family rally like Sierra Oaks for its safety, friendly neighbors, as well as its proximately to downtown and river.
Geoff Black, Vice President:  Geoff and his wife Jodi Black have enjoyed Sierra Oaks for 14 years with their twin daughters.  Geoff operates as the SONA Vice President working on various projects and as a sounding board and advocate for the group.  By day Geoff has been a mortgage lender for 16 years serving the greater Sacramento area.  His favorite thing about Sierra Oaks are the friendly people, walkability, access to the American Rive Bike Trail and the holiday celebrations from 4th of July to Halloween and beyond.
Todd Aquilina, Treasurer:  Todd has lived in Sierra Oaks since 2011 with his wife Jennifer and two sons Eli and Noah.   He’s served on the SONA board since 2018 and is responsible for the over-site of the organizations finances.  Todd loves the strong sense of community in Sierra Oaks. From school to sports to the strong connections with neighbors, Todd and his family are proud to be part of such a great neighborhood. 
Stephanie Dall'Era, Secretary:  Stephanie Dall’Era has served as Secretary on the SONA Board for the past 2 years.  She and her husband have lived in Sierra Oaks for 10 years.  Her two daughters both attended Sierra Oaks K-8 and now go to Rio Americano High School. Stephanie is a nurse at Calkin & Boudreaux Dermatology located near Loehmann’s Plaza.  Stephanie says her favorite things about living in Sierra Oaks are the friendships she has made and the strong sense of community.

Linda Babcock, Off-Duty Patrol Scheduler & Neighborhood Watch:  Linda has lived in Sierra Oaks with her husband and daughter for 19 years and has been serving as a SONA Volunteer for 8 years.  Her primary duties include working with the off duty Sheriff patrol schedulers to optimize patrol days and times.  She also communicates directly with the off-duty Sheriff patrols to keep them informed of recent crime trends.  Linda’s favorite things about Sierra Oaks are the people, the beautiful tree lined streets and the easy access to the American River Bike Trail.
Joyce Hribar, Membership:  Joyce has lived in Sierra Oaks for 10 years with her husband and 2 teenagers.  She has been the SONA Volunteer Membership Chair for 5 years.  Her primary duties include collecting and entering membership information into SONA's website database.  One of Joyce’s favorite things about our beautiful Sierra Oaks neighborhood is the fact that almost everything is a bike ride away from home:  friends, high school (Rio Americano High School), gym (Rio Del Oro), walking/running/bike trails, stores, restaurants, coffee, etc.
Rob Sandman, Flood Safety:  Rob has lived in Sierra Oaks for 16 years with Ali, his wife, and two teenage children. This is his first year on the SONA Board after previously serving on the Sierra Oaks Soccer Board and Sierra Oaks School PTA.  Rob's focus is flooding and neighborhood safety, working with the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency and County of Sacramento on those issues. Rob and Ali love Sierra Oaks for the warm and welcoming environment, great schools, easy access to stores and restaurants, and fun walks with their two dogs, Skippy and Kona.
Steve Ward, Parks & River Parkway:  Steve has lived in Sierra Oaks since 2011 with his wife Heather and two children, Taylor and Dylan (both attend Sierra Oaks School). While new to the SONA board, he looks forward to working with SONA members/residents regarding our neighborhood parks and American River Parkway. Steve and his family are grateful to have such wonderful amenities available within close proximity to home! Bike ride to Folsom anyone?
Ian Barlow, Member at Large:  Ian and his wife, Kirsten, moved to the Sierra Oaks neighborhood (Morley Way) approximately six years ago.  Their two sons, Myles and Bennett, attend school at Sierra Oaks K-8 and Ian works as an attorney at an office located in the Sierra Oaks community.  Ian is pleased to have the opportunity to serve on SONA's Board and to help contribute to the neighborhood, including by facilitating community services, events, and connections among our schools, families, and neighbors. 
Mike Casentini, Member at Large:  Mike has lived in Sierra Oaks with his wife and three daughters for 19 years and has been a SONA Volunteer for 1 year.  While his position is Member at Large, he often lends his expertise in technology challenges the board faces.  Mike enjoys the quiet serene streets of Sierra Oaks and the amazing community of long time friends his family has made. 
Sharon D'Arelli, Member at Large:  Sharon has lived in Sierra Oaks with her husband and daughter for 14 years and recently became a SONA board member. 
Her primary duties involve new member outreach, prospecting Sierra Oaks residents for membership and creating and delivering the new resident welcome packets on behalf of SONA.  What Sharon really enjoys most about Sierra Oaks are the generations of great families, who create this close-knit community and the proximity and convenience to great destinations like the American River Parkway, shopping and dining.
Sarina Fat, Member at Large:  Sarina has lived in Sierra Oaks for 13 years with her husband and their three children.  She has been serving as a SONA Volunteer for several years and is excited to be a part of the positive progress that has been made by the SONA Board in recent years.  Sarina’s husband was raised in Sierra Oaks and has fond memories growing up in this community and she would like the same for her children.  Her family enjoys spending time with their neighborhood friends and they enjoy walking their family dog along the safe and beautiful tree-lined streets.   
Wendy Hall, Member at Large:  Wendy has lived in the Sierra Oaks neighborhood for 24 years with her two daughters and believes there is no better neighborhood in Sacramento to live and raise children. Her favorite things about Sierra Oaks is it has a sense of community, is safe, has good schools and offers great proximity to downtown, the river, local restaurants and shopping. Her family enjoys visiting with neighbors and walking their adopted Labrador around the neighborhood or to the river.
